He had a child, Matt Payne, with Mollie Alexander, Seminole Freedman card 699 when he was around 23 years old. Mollie is the daughter of Lucy Bruner and Albert Alexander, raised by Lucy. Lucy's husband Tom was the brother the brother of my Great grandfather Ben Bruner.
